NLAW Reserve Sight
In 2005 Saab dynamics contacted Ring sights to design the reserve sight for the New Nlaw project [next Generation light anti-Tank weapon] . This was for the British army in collaboration with Thales Air Defence and Saab Dynamics.
Ring Sights chose to design a periscopic reflex collimated system that would withstand the extreme conditions and shelf-life requirements for the shoulder launched rocket. For use as back up to Day Acog magnified sight and for use with NVG goggles.
To Date over 30000 have been supplied to TADL and Saab Dynamics and is proving to be an exceptionally reliable system.
This Sight platform could be adapted to fit any Shoulder launch tube to give a reliable very cost effective solution to all condition sighting.
